Hyderabad: The Happy Homes Plot Owners’ Association has chosen a new Managing Committee at their latest meeting. Commodore TSSR Rao, a retired Indian Navy officer with over 30 years of service, is now the President.

V Narasimha Rao, the new General Secretary, previously worked as an Executive Director at ONGC before retiring. The association highlighted the mix of experienced and fresh members in the new committee. There are also joint secretaries, advisors, and coordinators focusing on specific ventures.

The association appointed two Vice Presidents to assist plot owners. Gordon Morris will handle issues in Somaram village, while P Srinivasa Prasad will focus on Ravalkola village in Medchal. Narasimha Rao emphasized the association’s ongoing efforts to address plot owners’ issues over the past seven years. A major problem is the conflict between the Revenue department and the Stamps and Registration department records. This issue forces plot owners to deal with farmers who wrongly appear in revenue records despite selling their land.

These farmers have also benefited from the Rythu Bandhu scheme unlawfully. The association has reported these issues to the Tahsildar, the Collector of Medchal-Malkajgiri district, and the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration. They have also submitted a representation to the Chief Minister for record correction.
