In Hyderabad, a theft occurred at the Mehdipatnam police station. A valuable phone, stored in a locker, was stolen by a police driver. Officials arrested him and placed him in remand.

According to police reports, a person reported losing his phone near the Rythu Bazaar within the Mehdipatnam police station limits. Using CCTV footage, police identified the thief and recovered the phone. The phone, worth ₹1.75 lakh, was secured in a locker due to its high value.

The police driver, Shravan Kumar, took the phone. Authorities confirmed his involvement in the theft. They retrieved the phone from him and transferred Shravan Kumar to remand under higher officials’ supervision.
