Hyderabad: On Sunday, the Banjara Hills police filed a case against several BRS leaders. They were accused of interfering with police duties during the arrest of BRSV president Gellu Srinivas Yadav at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday night. Key figures involved included S Madhusudhana Chary, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, and former MLA Balka Suman.

The police reported arresting about 20 BRS leaders and activists, including Srinivas Yadav, from the Jubilee Hills area. This action related to an attack on a Telugu news channel’s office. The channel had aired content allegedly disrespectful to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and BRS working president KT Rama Rao.
