Ponguleti denies meeting Jagan or discussing Sharmila

Former Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who recently joined the Congress party, traveled to Andhra Pradesh to meet with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. It was rumored that they discussed the inclusion of Sharmila in the Congress party. However, Ponguleti clarified that he only met with officials from the Chief Minister’s Office and not Jagan himself. The purpose of his visit was to discuss contract-related issues concerning his company. Ponguleti emphasized that there were no discussions about Sharmila with Jagan and that Jagan did not want the YCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) in Telangana. He expressed confidence that the party’s senior members would handle Sharmila’s inclusion.
