Ponnam Prabhakar, a minister in Telangana, opened the Falaknuma Road Over Bridge (ROB) today. The old bridge over the Falaknuma railway track had become too narrow, causing major traffic problems for locals. To solve this, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) built a new bridge next to it.
The new bridge stretches 360 meters and has two lanes. It cost Rs. 52 crore and 3 lakhs to construct. This project aims to reduce the traffic jams that the old two-lane bridge couldn’t handle.
People traveling from Falaknuma to Chandrayangutta and other areas will find their commute much easier now. The new bridge is expected to significantly cut down congestion from Chandrayangutta Junction to the Falaknuma Bus Depot, making journeys smoother for everyone.
