Hyderabad experienced continuous rain on Friday, affecting many areas. Authorities told GHMC and HYDRAA officials to stay on high alert to handle any problems caused by the weather. Heavy rain hit several neighborhoods, including LB Nagar, Hayath Nagar, Uppal, and Vanasthalipuram, causing significant disruption. The rain began in the eastern parts of the city and then spread to other areas. Intense showers led to waterlogging in low-lying regions, severely impacting daily activities.

Rainfall persisted throughout the day, causing traffic jams and making life difficult for commuters. Many got stuck during peak hours due to the downpour, leading to severe congestion. By 9 pm, the Telangana State Development Planning Society reported that Bandlaguda Uppal received the most rain at 87.8 mm. Other areas like Uppal, Defense Colony, and Hayathnagar received 47.8 mm, 46 mm, and 44 mm respectively.
