Hyderabad is hosting a special festival to strengthen ties between Telangana and the eight North Eastern states of India. The event, called “Telangana–North East India Connect: A Techno-Cultural Festival,” will take place in two parts: from November 25 to 27 and December 2 to 4, 2025. This festival will highlight the rich heritage and innovation of these regions.
People from all over India can join a contest linked to the festival. They can submit their creative ideas in three areas: Logo Design, Tagline Writing, and Poster Preparation. Posters can be in A4 or A3 size and must be in digital format.
M. Dana Kishore, the Principal Secretary to the Governor, leads this initiative. It aims to promote cultural unity, technological sharing, and creativity between Telangana and the North Eastern states, which include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
On Thursday, Raj Bhavan released the contest guidelines. Logos should be original, scalable, and submitted in high-resolution PNG and editable formats like AI, CDR, or PSD. Taglines must be in English, under 10 words, and original. Posters need to match the theme and be submitted in PDF or PNG with at least 300 dpi.
Contestants must provide their full name, age, occupation, contact information, ID/address proof, and a brief explanation (50-100 words) for each entry.
Entries should be emailed to telangananortheastconnect@gmail.com with the subject line as “Entry for Logo/Tagline/Poster – [Your Name].” The submission deadline is August 15, 2025.
The festival will feature notable figures from both regions. It will display a lively blend of traditional arts, cutting-edge tech exhibitions, and cross-cultural exchanges. For more information, participants can visit the official Raj Bhavan website: https://governor.telangana.gov.in.
