Mulugu (Telangana): The historic Ramappa Temple in Mulugu district is all set to welcome participants of the 72nd Miss World 2025 pageant on Wednesday at 4:30 PM.

According to District Collector TS Diwakar, the district administration has finalized all preparations to host the 35 Miss World contestants visiting from around the globe. These contestants will travel from Hyderabad to Haritha Hotel in Mulugu, and from there proceed to the temple.

The visitors will dress in traditional Indian attire and explore the centuries-old Ramappa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They will also enjoy specially arranged cultural performances that showcase the rich legacy of the Kakatiya Dynasty.

This visit is part of the promotional campaign ‘Telangana Zaroor Aana’, aimed at highlighting the state’s cultural and historical treasures to an international audience.

To ensure safety and smooth coordination, the district has deployed heavy police security. Officers from various departments have worked together to manage logistics and crowd control.

For security reasons, the temple will remain closed to the public on Wednesday. Devotees have been requested to cooperate with authorities during this special visit. Additionally, the use of drone cameras within a five-kilometer radius of the temple has been strictly banned.

Collector Diwakar urged citizens to support the event and help make it a success.
