Hyderabad: On Monday, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticized the delays in granting permissions for multi-storey buildings and other constructions. He emphasized that harassment over permissions is unacceptable.
The Chief Minister examined the status of permissions for projects under the Build Now scheme within the HMDA jurisdiction. He expressed frustration with certain officials for their intentional negligence concerning permits for high-rise buildings and gated communities.
The CM instructed HMDA Secretary Ilambarthi to investigate the causes of these delays and hold responsible parties accountable. He also highlighted numerous complaints against officials in the Irrigation Department, stressing that such issues would not be tolerated.
To address water-related concerns, the CM ordered a LiDAR survey immediately for the tanks, canals, and other water resources within the HMDA region.
