Gadwal: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Telangana celebrated Vijayadashami Utsav 2025 on Wednesday, marking 100 years since the organization’s foundation by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in 1925.

Chief guest Kadale Ashok attended the event, and Yadireddy delivered an important speech.

Yadireddy spoke about Vijayadashami, highlighting its message of good triumphing over evil. He noted that although past demons are gone, society still faces evil tendencies. He emphasized that strength, unity, and discipline are needed to overcome these, which has been the RSS mission for a century.

He shared the history of the Sangh, explaining how Dr. Hedgewar drew inspiration from Swami Vivekananda to mobilize dedicated youth for India’s transformation. The RSS started as a “character-building laboratory” and grew nationwide by 1940. Despite challenges like the 1975 Emergency ban, it became stronger, inspiring movements like the Ram Janmabhoomi campaign and the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

Yadireddy stressed the RSS’s current importance, mentioning threats to Hindu identity and Indian culture from internal and external forces. He argued that a united Hindu society is crucial for national progress.

He highlighted Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat’s idea of “Panch Parivartan” (Five Transformations). He urged members to focus on social harmony, environmental care, self-awareness, civic duties, and family values, starting at home.

As part of the centenary commitment, members were encouraged to devote more time to social service and expand the “Chalo Gaav Ki Ore” campaign, establishing RSS units in every village and community.

The event ended with a call for unity, patriotism, and shared responsibility. Many RSS workers, leaders, and Hindu Dharma Pari Rakshana Samiti members from Aiza joined the celebrations at Sri Krishna Function Hall.
