Samantha Ruth Prabhu is admired for her acting and generous charity work. Since 2014, her NGO, Pratyusha Support, has assisted women and children in need with essential medical and emotional aid.
This Diwali, Pratyusha Support held its Light of Joy event in Hyderabad. Over 250 children from orphanages and NGOs enjoyed an evening full of warmth and joy.
The celebration featured games, fun activities, and a special “Gratitude Activity” where children expressed their thankfulness. As the evening progressed, they lit hundreds of diyas, representing hope and new beginnings. Samantha, along with co-founder Dr. Manjula Anagani, spent quality time with the children, spreading festive cheer.
Pratyusha Support has been active in organizing vaccine drives, providing medicines, and nutritional support to orphanages. It also helps children with serious health issues by funding surgeries and running programs for newborn and heart patients, as well as menstrual hygiene.
In her career, Samantha recently made a cameo in Subham. She has upcoming films like Maa Inti Bangaram and Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom. Her home production, Maa Inti Bangaram, will start filming soon.
