To help with the high number of travelers during the Bathukamma and Dasara festivals, South Central Railway (SCR) has added temporary stops for some DEMU trains. These changes will be in place from September 26 to October 4, 2025.
SCR officials have stated that five DEMU trains will stop for one minute at Dayanand Nagar, Ramakistapuram Gate, and Alwal Halt stations. This decision aims to accommodate the increased travel needs in the suburbs during the festivals.
The trains affected by this temporary change include the Secunderabad–Siddipet DEMU (No. 77653), Siddipet–Malkajgiri DEMU (77654), Malkajgiri–Siddipet DEMU (77655), Siddipet–Malkajgiri DEMU (77656), and the Kacheguda–Purna DEMU (77605). These stops have been scheduled at specific times, both in the morning and evening, to make travel easier for passengers.
