The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has released the schedule for the DOST 2025-26 Special Phase and Spot admissions in collaboration with the Commissioner of Collegiate Education and Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST).
On Thursday, Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman of TGCHE, and A. Sai Devasena, Commissioner of Collegiate Education, announced that Special Phase registration and web options are available from July 25-31, 2025. Verification of special category certificates, including those for PHC, CAP, NCC, Sports, and extracurricular achievements, will take place from July 31 to August 1, 2025.
The Special Phase seat allotment results will be published on August 3, 2025. Candidates who receive seats must complete self-reporting between August 3 and 6 and report to their assigned colleges from August 4 to 6, 2025. At the same time, spot admissions will occur to fill leftover seats in private unaided colleges on August 11 and 12, 2025.
The notice specifies that only those who registered for DOST but did not secure a seat or failed to choose web options can participate in the Special Phase and Spot Admission. The process is open to all categories, but students admitted during the Spot phase will not qualify for scholarships.
