Gujarat Titans lost to Mumbai Indians by 27 runs in IPL 2023. Rashid Khan played a great game, scoring 79 runs off 32 balls with 10 sixes and three fours. He also picked up four wickets. Even though he couldn’t win the game for his team, GT captain Hardik Pandya praised Rashid for his performance. MI scored 218 runs for 5 wickets while batting first, with Suryakumar Yadav scoring an unbeaten 103 runs off 49 balls. MI has won seven games this season, and this was their fourth consecutive 200-plus score at home.

Pandya said that Rashid was the only player who performed well for GT. He praised Rashid’s tremendous batting and bowling, adding that the rest of the team didn’t perform well. Despite being in danger of being bowled out for a low total, Rashid’s innings reduced the margin of defeat.
