    Indian Open to Host 70 Surfers Competing across Four Categories Starting June 1st

    The Indian Open of Surfing will take place from June 1 to 3 at Sasihithlu beach in Mangalore. The competition will feature a total of 70 surfers from across India in four categories: Male Open, Male Groms (U-16), Female Open and Female Groms (U-16). The event is held under the aegis of the Surfing Federation of India and by the Mantra Surf Club, and is recognised by the International Surfing Federation. Top surfers including Sathish Sarvanan, Ruban V and Srikanth D will be competing, along with female surfers Shrishti Selvam, Sinchana D Gowda and Sugar Shanti Banarse. The competition aims to provide a platform for Indian surfers to shine at national and international events.
