    On Sunday, Jasprit Bumrah and Rohit Sharma, both players from the Mumbai Indians team, were present at the Brabourne Stadium to support their women’s team during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) final against the Delhi Capitals. Bumrah, who is currently recovering from a back injury, is uncertain for IPL 2023. Along with Bumrah and Sharma, the entire Mumbai Indians team, including Sachin Tendulkar, was present at the match. In the end, Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by seven wickets to win the inaugural Women’s Premier League trophy. Nat Sciver-Brunt and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur led the team to victory, with unbeaten scores of 60 and 37 respectively. Earlier, DC’s skipper Meg Lanning was the top-scorer for her team with 35 runs off 29 balls. Shikha Pandey and Radha Yadav added 52 runs off just 24 balls to take DC to a competitive score. MI’s Hayley Matthews returned with figures of 4-2-5-3, while Issy Wong claimed three wickets and Melie Kerr took two more wickets for MI.
