Kadiyam Srihari, the Station Ghanpur MLA, criticized former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for focusing on politics from his farmhouse. He accused the BRS chief of disturbing the political system in the state.

In a press conference on Friday, Srihari said he never sought positions. He mentioned that KCR personally asked him to be the Deputy CM. He joined the Congress for constituency development, not for personal gains, and stated he never favored defections.

Srihari questioned why, during the BRS tenure, 36 MLAs joined and two got ministerial posts without resignations. He asked why those values are only remembered now. He remarked, “When you do it, it’s called family; when others do it, you call it prostitution.”

Indirectly addressing former MLA Dr. Tatikonda Rajaiah, Srihari criticized the lack of culture and decency in personal attacks instead of political debate. He refrains from using harsh language due to his education and societal respect.

He accused some long-serving MLAs of neglecting their constituencies, engaging in corruption, and misusing schemes like Dalit Bandhu. Srihari stated he would not lower himself to respond to baseless comments, which he believes tarnish politics.

Srihari stressed that his focus is on constituency development. He assured that he never engaged in land encroachments or corruption, concentrating solely on district and constituency growth.

He pointed out that Rajaiah faced rejection from people and parties. Srihari mentioned that women in Medaram prayed against Rajaiah’s return to Congress, yet Rajaiah still accuses him.

Despite personal attacks, Srihari remains committed to development. He noted that the Speaker issued notices to all, and he plans to respond by the month’s end. He affirmed he has always remained independent and an icon, never bowing to anyone.

He thanked Station Ghanpur residents for his political journey, acknowledging their role in his success. Srihari expressed gratitude to CM Revanth Reddy for prioritizing constituency development.
