Warangal: Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy has emphasized the Congress party’s commitment to bringing back “Indiramma Rajyam,” a term symbolizing welfare and development. Speaking at the launch of a Mahila Shakti Canteen in Kazipet on Friday, he highlighted the party’s efforts to support women through various initiatives.

The Mahila Shakti Canteen, operated by women self-help groups (SHGs), was inaugurated on the premises of the Municipal Office. During the event, Naini mentioned that the Congress government has introduced programs like free bus travel for women and a subsidy of ₹500 for LPG refills to empower them. He also stated that Telangana is leading in the efforts to uplift and support women.

The MLA interacted with members of the self-help groups and encouraged them to take full advantage of the government welfare schemes. The Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) Commissioner, Ashwini Tanaji Wakade, was also present at the event.

Later in the day, Naini participated in a pre-Christmas celebration at the Centenary Baptist Church in Hanumakonda, marking the festive season with the local community.
