Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, honored his commitment to Rahul Sipligunj by awarding him Rs 1 crore during the Bonala festival.
Sipligunj, originally from the old town, has gained fame worldwide, especially for the song “Naatu Naatu” from the hit movie “RRR.” Chief Minister Reddy praised him, calling him an inspiration for Telangana’s youth due to his dedication and success.
Before the last elections, Reddy, then leading the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), promised to support Sipligunj with Rs 10 lakh and assured a larger reward once the Congress came to power.
At the Gaddar Awards, Reddy mentioned Sipligunj and hinted at an upcoming announcement. Keeping his promise, Reddy presented Sipligunj with the award at the Bonala festival in Patabasti. The singer thanked the Revanth government for their support.
