Various public organizations in Shadnagar Constituency submitted a petition to Congress CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka regarding the water scarcity in the area. The petition seeks support for the construction of the Lakshmi Devi Palli Reservoir as part of the Palamuru Ranga Reddy lift irrigation scheme. The reservoir is necessary due to dire water conditions in the region.

The public organizations highlighted that despite previous discussions, the issue has not received adequate attention and stressed the reservoir’s importance. It is designed to provide irrigation water to approximately one lakh acres in the Shadnagar Constituency, but the current review of the project fails to address its construction.

Individuals such as Arjunappa, Rabindranath, Bijilisatyam, Ravi Ramchander, Tirumalaiah, and others attended the event and echoed the urgent need for attention to the water scarcity in the region.
