Kothagudem: The coal production was influenced on ce once again in a number of opencast (OC) coal mines of SCCL in erstwhile Khammam area as a result of rains on Tuesday evening.
In throughout 5000 to 6000 tonnes of coal manufacturing was influenced throughout the graveyard shift on Tuesday at JK 5 OC in Yellandu mandal, at Koyagudem OC in Tekulapalli mandal, at GK OC in Kothagudem, mines at Manugur as well as at JVR as well as Kistaram OCs in Sathupalli mandal of Khammam area, authorities stated.
Earlier on Monday as well, the coal manufacturing was influenced in a number of opencast (OC) coal mines of SCCL in erstwhile Khammam area adhering to continual rains on Sunday evening.
The job of eliminating overburden as well as 6000 tonnes of coal manufacturing was influenced at JK 5 OC in Yellandu mandal as well as at Koyagudem OC in Tekulapalli mandal.
Similarly in Kothagudem around 3000 tonnes coal manufacturing was influenced throughout graveyard shift at GK OC as water gathered in the mine as well as made the tracks in the mine unsafe.
At JVR as well as Kistaram OCs in Sathupalli mandal of Khammam area regarding 25000 tonnes coal manufacturing as well as 1.50 lakh cubic metres overburden elimination was influenced as a result of the rains last evening.
