The AAP labels BJP’s 9-year governance as a period of failure and darkness.

Even as the BJP-led Central government is celebrating nine years in office, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling party alleging that its rule has been nothing short of a black era.

Police in the Warangal district of India are cracking down on irregularities at paddy procurement centres and rice mills. Farmers have reported being cheated by officials and rice millers when selling their produce. Commissioner of Police AV Ranganath visited an IKP paddy procurement centre to speak to farmers about their problems. He discovered that farmers were experiencing a two-fold loss, with officials reducing the weight of the produce and rice millers deducting wastage in the name of wastage. Ranganath inspected a rice mill near Mucharla Nagaram Cross Road and found irregularities, leading him to direct his subordinates to book a cheating case against the rice miller. The Commissioner also held a review meeting with local officials to discuss measures to protect farmers from losses.
