    Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar visited Cheemalapadu village on Tuesday to distribute ex-gratia cheques to the families of those affected by the recent cylinder blast. The government announced Rs10 lakhs for the families who lost a loved one and Rs2.5 lakhs for those who were injured in the accident. Four people lost their lives and five were seriously injured during the blast near the BRS Atmeeya Sammelanam venue. The government immediately responded to the incident and ensured that injured people were taken to NIMS for better treatment.

    MP Nama Nageswara Rao stated that the Nama Trust had already given a total of Rs 8 lakhs to the victims, and the government would provide whatever else was needed. Minister Kumar promised all kinds of assistance to the families affected by the blast. He added that the government provided health facilities to all the injured people and supported them during this difficult time.

    During the cheque distribution ceremony, MLC Tata Madhusudhan, Wyra MLA Ramulu Naik, Additional Collector N Madhusudhan, District Rythu Bandhu Samithi Convener N Venkateswara Rao, RDO Ravindernath and others were present.
