Hyderabad: Stating that polluted toddy was impacting the health of the bad, the Forum for Good Governance (FGG) on Tuesday required the government to take actions to regulate it.
The FGG assistant M Padmanabha Reddy contacted Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar requiring control of the faulty toddy. He stated that according to the plan, toddy stores can be developed just in such locations where tappable trees are offered within a range of 50 kilometres. This action was required to avoid deterioration of toddy with ridiculous compounds like chloral hydrate, diazepam, alprazolam as well as likewise to supply pure as well as wholesome toddy to customers.
After the development of Telangana, the import tax plan took a ‘u’ turn as well as the government modified as well as erased the 50 kilometres range stipulation.
