There was a tense situation at Indira Park when the Yadav community tried to surround the Gandhi Bhavan with thugs. They were protesting against Revanth Reddy’s comments about Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Golla Kurumas. The police came and stopped the protestors and arrested some of them.

The Yadava JAC group has asked for an apology from TPCC chief Revanth Reddy. They said he made inappropriate comments that insulted the Yadavas and Kurumas of the state. The group warned that if an apology is not given within 24 hours, they would hold a large rally from Indira Park to Gandhi Bhavan and lay siege.

The Yadava community is demanding respect. They make up more than 20 percent of the population in the state, and they want people to know what they are capable of. They don’t want to be underestimated.
