Hanuman Jayanthi was celebrated in Telangana State, with devotees performing special prayers at Hanuman temples. The Kondagattu temple in Jagityal district was especially popular, with thousands of people attending. The temple officials made sure that the devotees were well taken care of during the three-day celebration, which included Trikundamantima Yagnam and Poornahuthi. The Bhadrachalam Seetharama Swami temple sent special silk clothes to the Kondagattu temple, which were handed over by Telangana State Planning Board Vice-Chairman B Vinod Kumar and Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar to Sunke Ravi Shankar. The Kondagattu temple authorities prepared 3.6 lakh laddus and pulihora pockets and set up 14 counters for the convenience of the devotees. The police also put up 104 CC cameras around the temple for security purposes.
