Hyderabad: BC young boys’ hostels in city turn hellholes

Hyderabad: Around 40 BC young boys’ hostels in the city absence standard facilities like bathrooms, alcohol consumption water centers, regular power cuts, negative top quality of food.

According to pupils, mostly all the BC hostels that consists of BC Hostels at Bagh Amberpet, Troop Bazaar, Malkajgiri, Narayanguda as well as much more in the city are operating in leased properties, the food that is been offered to them is of really poor quality as well as unclean. Rice is not correctly prepared as well as curries are generally watery. Along with hostels, household institutions likewise do not provide pure alcohol consumption water, there is regular power cut as well as mostly all the spaces of hostels do not have doors as well as windowpanes.

“Substandard food is served at our hostel and the place where the food is been prepared is also not cleaned. Many representations were given to the concerned officials but no action has been taken up yet,” stated Prashanth, living at BC hostel,Naryanguda

“Apart from poor quality of food, our hostel lack proper accommodation. There are no proper beds, rooms are not cleaned properly and the washrooms are never sanitised,” stated Anil Roa, living at BC hostel, Amberpet.
