Hyderabad: Gullible fall target to phony FMCG items
Hyderabad: The Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs) are the products which are used by people each day. These consist of a selection of items such as refined foods, ready dishes, drinks, baked products and so on. However, there are a couple of items in this group like hair shampoos, soaps, hair oils, biscuits and so on that can be conveniently forged. Many such phony FMCG items remain to rule the area stores in run-down neighborhood locations, semi-urban nests and also bastis.
Now, the bottom line is lots of people still can not construct out the distinction in between the initial and also the replicate FMCG items, due to the fact that the replicate item suppliers have actually acquired the knowledge in changing the item photo, hologram as well as likewise the density of the plastics in which these items are secured.
The primary concern that develops over below is that the general public at big is still uninformed of any kind of such replicate items that exist in their bordering regional stores, and also the paradox being the seller himself not recognizing the distinction in between initial and also replicate items, stated a police officer from the job pressure.
He included, “The wholesalers who deliver the products at these small-time shops are colluding with the fake product manufacturers for huge commission and are keeping the retailers in the dark without realising that they are playing with the lives of gullible and poor citizens who cannot go to any big shop or supermarket for their groceries. Many poor earns their wages daily and whenever they need any soap or a shampoo or oil, they just walk to their local shop in the area and purchase the product. Such kind of duplicate products are very dangerous and will have a serious health hazard. The task force has arrested many distributors earlier who were involved in selling the duplicate FMCG products to the shop owners, but still the menace of such products continues.”
Md Shafi, a lobbyist stated, “We have alerted the police department many times about the unhindered flow of such duplicate products in the local shops and the cops have also raided the godowns and arrested the culprits, but still the menace is ongoing. In order to curtail the menace once and forever, the best solution is to create awareness about the existence of duplicate FMCG products among the public like the one which was done by the department in connection with drugs.”
If a person recognizes such replicate items, after that he/she will certainly examine the vendor prior to buying the item and also in such a method, individuals can be shielded from such defrauders,” included Shafi.
