Hyderabad: Residents of Meerpet look for ample water system
Hyderabad: The citizens of Friends Colony, Meerpet, sent a depiction to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and also Sewerage Board authorities on Sunday, as there is no range for groundwater there. The swarm relies on HMWSSB water and also personal vessels.
Said a homeowner,”the colony is situated on rocky ground and has no scope of groundwater. Around 200 residents are dependent on HMWSSB supply and private tankers, which cost us extra monthly. There is no alternative water source for the colony.”
“Four years back a birthed well was pierced by the GHMC in a public park to provide ample water to the swarm. But it is regrettable that till day it was not use. We go through shocks every summer season as a result of a boost popular for water in the period.”
