Hyderabad: Panic dominated for some time when a relocating MMTS train all of a sudden quit near the Begumpet train terminal onFriday The event took place at around 9 am when the Lingampally- Nampally MMTS train all of a sudden stopped while making a loud audio nearBegumpet Railway Station According to train authorities, a technological problem in the signals brought about the event.
Few guests explained that the unexpected stop produced a feeling of stress and anxiety amongst guests that after that came down the train to witness what has actually taken place. “I have been travelling in MMTS from past one year and no such incident ever took place. Suddenly today, when the train stopped mid-way, it created havoc among passengers, as the sudden halt raised concern among us,” claimed a traveler that observed the event.
“The sudden halt of train created panic among passengers as everyone were getting late for work. However, the situation got under control within an hour,” claimed Ramesh, one more traveler.
SCR elderly authorities claimed, “The incident occurred due to technical glitch in the overhead equipment (the electrical conductors over the tracks). This is minor issue, and passengers should keep their calm when this type of problem occurs.”
