Manipur civil society leaders hold talks with Amit Shah in Imphal

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday visited Churachandpur, the scene of some of the worst rioting in the recent ethnic conflict which broke out in Manipur earlier this month, to hold talks with Kuki civil society leaders.

The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao, has spoken out against the disqualification of AICC leader Rahul Gandhi from his Lok Sabha membership. He has called for unity among all democratic forces to fight against what he describes as the “dictatorial” government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

KCR has strongly condemned the Modi government for what he sees as their abuse of constitutional institutions, and their use of Parliament for nefarious activities. He believes that the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi is a clear indication of Modi’s arrogance and dictatorial attitude.

According to KCR, this is a dark day for Indian democracy, and it is imperative that all democratic forces come together to safeguard the country’s constitutional values. He believes that the Modi regime has overshadowed the emergency, and that harassment of opposition leaders has become routine.

KCR has called upon all democratic forces to condemn the actions of the BJP government and resist their evil policies. He believes that everyone must come together to protect democracy and constitutional values in the country.
