Kothagudem: With a go for transportation of coal in eco-friendly fashion, the Singareni Colliries Company Limited (SCCL) on Saturday introduced the Kothagudem- Sathupalli train line, notified business chairman and also handling supervisor N Sridhar.
Addressing the media, N Sridhar notified that the train line of Kothagudem-Sathupally was finished and also route run was started onSaturday He claimed that in this train line, the SCCL will certainly transfer 30,000 tonnes of coal from Sathupalli open caste to Kothagudem each day. He included that 100 lakhs tones of coal can be carried every year this way.
The SCCL built 54 kilometers track with Rs 928 crore within a stated time, he claimed. He advised that the building of brand-new train line started in February 2020.
He remembered that earlier the SCCL carried the coal with vehicles from right here. In an overall financial investment of Rs 927.94 crores, the SCCL shared Rs 618.55 crores and also South Central Railways shared Rs 309.39 crores for the building of brand-new train line he included.
