The BJP Hanumakonda district president, Rao Padma, held a press conference in Hanumakonda on Saturday. She accused the IT, MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao of speaking negatively about the Central Government. She stated that KTR was trying to take credit for work done by the BJP-led Central Government, which was misleading. She also criticized the BRS Government for failing to acquire land for the Railway’s periodical overhauling (POH) unit but blaming the Centre.

Padma pointed out that most of the developmental work in the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) is being carried out using Central funds from programmes like Smart City Mission, Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY) and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT). She also criticized KCR for not keeping his promise of sanctioning Rs 300 special developmental funds for Warangal every year and for not speaking about rain-affected farmers.
