    Former Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, spoke at the civil servants day celebrations in Hyderabad on Sunday. He expressed his concern that values in politics were declining and called for government officials to become leaders of development and bridges to the future.     Naidu emphasized that civil servants should discharge their duties with morals and honesty and play an important role in delivering public services. He urged officials to listen to people’s problems patiently and be cautious with those who create law and order issues. Finally, he asked civil servants to prepare policies based on current and future needs and act smartly.
