M. Venkaiah Naidu claims decline in political values in Hyderabad

Former Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, spoke at the civil servants day celebrations in Hyderabad on Sunday. He expressed his concern that values in politics were declining and called for government officials to become leaders of development and bridges to the future. Naidu stressed that Indian civil services play an important role in the country’s development and all citizens should dedicate themselves to its progress.

Naidu encouraged civil servants, politicians, legal practitioners, and media persons to discharge their duties impartially, which would ensure the country’s development. He criticized the British rulers for looting both the country and the people’s ideas.

Naidu emphasized that civil servants should discharge their duties with morals and honesty and play an important role in delivering public services. He urged officials to listen to people’s problems patiently and be cautious with those who create law and order issues. Finally, he asked civil servants to prepare policies based on current and future needs and act smartly.
