    On Wednesday, Telangana State Home Minister Mahmood Ali inaugurated a new police station building at Nandigama mandal centre. He was joined by local MLA Anjaiah Yadav and DGP Anjani Kumar. During the inauguration, Ali praised Telangana for providing excellent policing services and said that they are constantly working towards making them the best in the country.

    Anjani Kumar also spoke at the event, stating that the additional workload is causing more problems for the police. To address this issue, new zones have been established in the Hyderabad metropolitan area and DCPs have been assigned to these zones. Additionally, a plan has been prepared to set up traffic police stations along with Law and Order department.

    Yadav noted that the new police station building was built by the government at a corporate level, and command and control has been established with CC cameras installed in all the villages and wards under the police station. Following the inauguration, Ali and Yadav felicitated and honoured police officers.

    Also in attendance were DCP Narayana Reddy, ACP Kushalkar, Ramaiah, MP Manne Srinivas Reddy, ZP Vice Chairman Eeta Ganesh Mudiraj, Sarpanch Venkata Reddy, and others. Telangana continues to prioritize welfare schemes and development works in accordance with its growing population, and is adding modernity to its policing services for crime control. The state is also taking measures to protect women with She Teams and She Police Stations.
