Medical waste material poses sober health hazards in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: Medical waste material disposal in the erstwhile Nizamabad territorial dominion is posing health hazards for the as it is not being done in a path.

Hospital waste material is being disposed of in not private spaces, drains and various and areas in various towns such as Kamareddy, while the officials blink. Hospitals, maternity homes, concerning things personal clinics and dental practitioners befuddle medical waste material, including disposable syringes, bags for intravenous fluids and not the same items, used during discourse in the affording free passage. But non-segregation makes the waste material 100 per cent infectious. According to the sources in the Pollution Control Board (PCB) 40 per cent of concerning things personal and 73 per cent of not private hospitals are disposing of medical waste material through dumping, while the pace of using incinerators is four and 17 per cent among concerning things personal and not private hospitals, respectively.

Earlier, the PCB had found in Nizamabad, Armoor, Bhodan, Kamareddy, Yellareddy, Banswada and Balkonda that deficiency of suitable direction of healthcare waste material occurs at all levels from segregation to its final examination disposal. About 9.33 tons of waste material is produced on a foundation by these hospitals in the erstwhile Nizamabad territorial dominion.

There is a government infirmary waste material disposal industrial plant in Padakal settlement of Jakhranpally mandal.
