Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud and district collector G Ravi Nayak inspected the works of the District Super Specialty Hospital, which is being built on the site of the old district collectorate building in Mahbubnagar. The minister stated that the district is experiencing growth in education, health, tourism, and business sectors, and will soon become a wonderful tourism spot in Telangana. He also mentioned plans to establish adequate IT space and attract large scale industries to create jobs for over 30,000 people within the next 2-3 years.

The minister laid the foundation stone for a tourism budget hotel and commercial business complex building in Mahabubnagar at a cost of Rs 50 crore. He expressed his hope that Mahbubanagar will change its negative brand tag and become a top tourist destination in Telangana. The old collectorate premises will be developed to include budget hotels, branded shops, and an IMAX theater at a cost of Rs 50 crore. The foot over bridge from the bus stand to the super specialty hospital will also be completed within 15 months. The minister announced plans to merge Jadcharla, Bhutpur, and Mahbubnagar in the future, which will provide jobs for 30,000 people due to large industries in the IT tower.
