Nikhat Zareen, a World Boxing Champion, visited the Chief Minister of Hyderabad, Sri K. Chandrashekhar Rao, at the Secretariat on Thursday. The Chief Minister expressed his desire for Zareen to win a gold medal in the upcoming Olympics and bring glory to India, including Telangana. He promised to support Zareen’s participation in the games by covering expenses for training, coaching, and transportation. The Chief Minister even announced a donation of Rs 2 crore to help cover Zareen’s expenses. He instructed the Chief Secretary, Santhi Kumari, to take action in this regard.
