The rising temperatures in Telangana are causing health problems, with three people dying from sunstroke in the last two days. Some areas of the state are experiencing temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius. The Met department predicts that Wednesday and Thursday will be even hotter, with some towns having temperatures two to three degrees higher than normal. Areas like Mancherial, Ramagundam, and other coal-producing regions have been particularly affected, and people are advised to stay inside between 11 am and 5 pm.

The Health department has warned citizens to take precautions against sunstroke, especially daily wage laborers, salespeople, and traffic police. They recommend staying hydrated by drinking water and juices. So far, three people have died due to heatwave conditions. Constable M Santosh from Mancherial district died on Sunday, M Pentu of Siddapur of Hasanparthi mandal of Hanamkonda collapsed while working on the village outskirts, and a retired SPM worker, A Pochaiah, fell ill after attending a wedding and died while receiving treatment.

In Hyderabad, temperatures are nearing 40 degrees Celsius. The roads are empty during the afternoon but busy with vehicles in the evening. If temperatures exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the city, colleges may close for holidays.
