    The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has sent a legal notice to TPCC Chief and Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy. The notice asks for an apology within 48 hours for public statements he made about the Outer Ring Road (ORR) lease. The notice also asks him to stop making similar comments. The HMDA says that the monetization of the ORR through the Toll-Operate-Transfer model was fair and transparent. IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited won the bid. The HMDA says that allegations of non-payment of fees are false and that Revanth Reddy’s statements are malicious.

    The HMDA explained in the notice that the successful bidder is not obligated to make any advance payments before the contract is concluded. They have not received any requests for an extension of time from the concessionaire, and no extension has been granted. The HMDA also said that Revanth Reddy’s statement about the transfer of ownership is false.
