Telugu State Chief Ministers Extend Greetings to Citizens on the Commencement of Ramzan

The Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have extended their greetings to the Muslim community on the beginning of the holy month of Ramzan. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao stated that Ramzan teaches discipline, charity, and inspires people towards an ideal life. He added that recitation of the Quran helps people understand the ultimate meaning of life and wished that the holy month would bring light and prosperity to people’s lives. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy noted that Ramzan is a month of discipline, philanthropy, and spirituality. He also emphasized that Muslims spend a part of their wealth towards charity for the poor during this month. Reddy added that Ramzan teaches people to eradicate bad feelings, injustice, and hatred and inspires them to work for the welfare of mankind.
