Bajrang Dal members protested at the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters in Nampally. They were protesting against the Karnataka Congress for wanting to ban their organization in their election manifesto. Members of other parties joined the protest. The protest caused tension and some members of the Bajrang Dal broke through police barricades.

When BJP leaders gathered to stage a protest, they recited Hanuman Chalisa and took out a procession. However, the police prevented them near the party office. The BJP leaders then sat on the road to continue their protests.

Scores of Bajrang Dal members chanted Hanuman Chalisa near the TPCC office. This led to a minor tussle between the activists and Mahila Congress members. The police intervened and took the activists into custody.
