The Health department, along with the National Health Mission, will provide chemotherapy facilities in State districts due to the rising cancer cases. The initial chemo will still be done at the MNJ Hospital in the city.
The State government is looking into a new policy for the Arogyasri health scheme. The Health Minister has called for a meeting with employee and teacher unions to review the medical services provided by Arogyasri. Officials have ten days to submit a report on the new policy.
Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) denied Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy’s claim that it has debts of Rs 10,000 crore and is unable to pay its employees. The company said it has a strong financial base and deposits of Rs.11,665 crore.
The BRS will have a constituency-level plenary at Palakurthi on April 25, organised by Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao. The aim of the plenary is to share the welfare and developmental programmes implemented by the BRS Government. Rao also emphasised the need to counter the opposition parties who are trying to defame the BRS Government on social media platforms.
