The Uppal Skywalk in Hyderabad is almost finished and cost Rs 25 crore to build. The goal is to make it easier for people to walk around. It’s made of 1,000 tons of steel and has 8 lifts, 6 staircases, and 4 escalators. It’s six meters above the ground and will help the more than 20,000 people who cross the road every day. The project started in 2020 but was delayed because of Covid. The skywalk will help with traffic at the Uppal intersection. The project was suggested by Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao to help with the growing population of Hyderabad East.
