Kothagudem: Panic grasped amongst the general public after a death of an exclusive assistant operating in the power division. The family members and also citizens opposed at Bommanapalli in Tekulapally mandal in the area on Wednesday.
The assistant determined as Banoth Veeranna (30) of G Kotha thanda in the mandal, was electrocuted when he was executing repair on the Gangaram major circulation line at Shambhunigudem after acquiring line clearance to shut off the line.
However, the power supply in the line was activated inadvertently. The assistant endured a huge electrical shock and also passed away instantaneously on an electrical post, on which he was functioning.
Following the event his relative and also the citizens took his body to the Bommanapalli electrical substation on Kothagudem-Yellandu highway and also organized a dharna. They required a payment of Rs 25 lakh and also a task to the kin of the deceased.
The dharna brought about a rush hour jam when traveling for an extended period. The neighborhood CI Venkateshwarlu, power division AE Deva and also various other authorities got to the area and also held talks with militants. The demonstration was taken out after the authorities ensured them to do justice to Veeranna’s family members.
