New Delhi / Hyderabad: The Telangana government and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBIGC) have agreed to collaborate on the Telangana Rising vision and its execution.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair in Delhi on Thursday. Blair, who now leads TBIGC, supports global leaders in creating and implementing strategic visions. During their hour-long meeting, the CM shared details about “Telangana Rising 2047,” which will be publicly unveiled on December 9, 2025, marking the second anniversary of the state government.
Revanth Reddy emphasized the focus on improving social and economic conditions for groups like farmers, youth, and women. He outlined plans for enhancing human development indicators and introduced a new approach called micro planning for urban, peri-urban, and rural areas. Blair praised the commitment to sustainable development.
Blair showed particular interest in initiatives like Bharat Future City, Young India Skills University, and Young India Sports University. Present at the meeting were Minister for Irrigation and Civil Supplies Uttam Kumar Reddy, MPs Raghuveer Reddy and Mallu Ravi, Advisor to the Government Jitender Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, and Secretary (Coordination) Gaurav Uppal.
