A call has been made to the state government to promptly set up the executive body of the Reddy Corporation and allocate ₹2,000 crore to support the economically disadvantaged in the Reddy community. Thoomu Indrasena Reddy, the President of the former Mahabubnagar district unit of Palamuru Reddy Seva Samithi, expressed this demand during a meeting at the Raja Bahadur Reddy Convention Center on Sunday.
Indrasena Reddy reminded the attendees about the Chief Minister’s promise to establish the Reddy Corporation to help the financially weaker sections of the community. He urged the government to officially recognize the corporation, form its executive body, and release the necessary funds for its activities.
He stressed the importance of fully implementing the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) reservation policy in all educational admissions and job recruitments at both the central and state levels. He highlighted the organization’s efforts, mentioning that the Samithi provides financial aid to underprivileged but talented students and assists with medical expenses for accident victims.
The meeting was attended by key office-bearers from the unified district, including General Secretary Vepuru Rajender Reddy, Treasurer Mallu Narasimha Reddy, Vice Presidents Pasula Dhananjaya Reddy and Venkataram Reddy, Publicity Secretary N. Surender Reddy, and Secretaries Koteswar Reddy and Parameshwar Reddy.
