Traffic jams have increased on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway 65 as people head back after the Dussehra festivities. Vehicles are lined up towards Hyderabad, especially at the Chityala, Choutuppal, and Pantangi toll plazas, causing slow traffic. Buses are overcrowded with passengers returning to the city.
The Nandigama bus stand in the NTR district is particularly busy. Many are trying to catch buses as the holidays end alongside the weekend. This rush occurs because employees want to return to Hyderabad before the workweek begins on Monday. Consequently, all roads leading into the city are heavily congested.
To address this, police are actively managing traffic to reduce delays and keep commuters moving smoothly.
