Gadwal: Today, a special training and review session for Mid-Level Health Providers (MLHPs) took place at the IDOC office in Jogulamba Gadwal district. The session aimed at improving the Ayushman Arogya Mandirs by training MLHPs effectively.
Dr. SK Siddappa, the District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO), led the event. He was joined by important program officers like Dr. J. Sandhya Kiranmai, Dr. Prasoonarani, Dr. G. Raju, and Dr. Rizwana Tanveer.
Dr. Siddappa stressed the need for MLHP staff to be punctual and disciplined at the Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. He encouraged them to stick to their schedules and actively manage health programs at the local level.
He also gave specific instructions to MLHPs:
- Visit villages in the afternoons for oversight and community health work.
- Ensure that daily Outpatient (OP) services and health activities run smoothly.
- Upload all activities, such as health camps and daily reports, to the Ayushman Arogya Mandir portal for efficient monitoring.
The meeting was attended by:
- Medical Officers,
- MLHP staff from 67 district health centers,
- Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) where MLHPs were unavailable,
- Other district health officials.
This effort focuses on enhancing primary healthcare services, ensuring effective health program execution, and boosting accountability among health workers in the Jogulamba Gadwal district.
